This is a screenplay project I started a while ago and finally got to the point where I don't mind sharing it in public. First a couple things: This is an ORIGINAL work based on the Aliens setting. The characters (with one exception) are an original creation, as well as all dialogue, etc. Please do not adapt for any other projects. If you want to film it, let's talk. ![]() I don't know if I'll be able to produce this any time soon but I'd be interested in seeing it as the basis for a graphic novel if any of our excellent artists would like to tackle my vision (and put up with how I want it done. ![]() Get yourself a bowl of popcorn and a soda, you'll be reading for a while. Adobe PDF document, appx. 120 pages. Please 'right click' the link and 'save as.' I hope you enjoy my "movie." =================== *EDIT: 3/2015* Added new links because my web site is down. "Four More Weeks" Mystery Version. This version keeps you guessing for the first part of the screenplay. Attachment: "Four More Weeks - Director's Cut" This version spells it all out and has some scenes that fill in the backstory/missing parts. Attachment: Russ |

![]() Not just because I am a rabid fan but because it plays so well. I could actually see this as a movie. Why don't you approach Bill Paxton;) Maybe an animated feature film like Beowulf? Since he looks a bit older LOL Very clever references and good Tech knowledge. Love the little cliche twist at the end as well. Somebody better jump on this. The best thing since ALIENS. Thanks guys! I was hoping it would turn out okay. There's a "Director's cut" version as well that's about 20 pages or so longer, and shows what happened to the main character after the tragic events in his past. It's very cinematic (in my opinion) and features a voiceover as well to kind of fill in some of the blanks that in the version I posted I just left quiet and let the motion tell the story... instead of a Deckard style Blade Runner voice over (which I always liked actually. ![]() Wow, only two people have read this? Y'all too busy posting about the upcoming Iron Man film on your blogs or what? ![]() Russ |

Forgot to respond to this a while back. Same rules apply. It's mine, I created and wrote it, don't copy it, etc. http://www.rookscastle.com/videos/four_ ... matted.pdf Russ |

Russ this script is awesome, seriously good work. Since watching the film I always had ideas about the rest of LV-426 and if there were more Atmos Processors linked up, I'm only 30 odd pages in but my boss just caught me reading this at work and gave me a right telling off!! haha, good work man I can't wait to finish this at home!! I believe the concept of the multiple processors was brought up in the novelization, or one of the earlier drafts of the screenplay. It seemed logical to me, I don't care how big the one in the film was, I can't believe one of those things could terraform a planet from the vacuum seen in Alien to breathable atmosphere as seen in Aliens in only 20 years. ![]() Enjoy! I'm just waiting for Fox to write me a check. I'll accept one from 20th Century, Michael J. or Samantha. ![]() Russ |

Russ! I just read the first one and I'm all teary eyed on how good it is. I want to do the happy dance! Just one question.. I know Gunny used an SG when he was in the Corp, but did he have one stashed in the rig? I remember him saying there were no weapons on board when Hudson asked... |

Actually, I believe the phrase was somthing like... "None handy." ![]() The SG was broken down into compoments and stored in various places in/on the tractor. The "vented antenna shround" on the roof of the tractor that I made a special point of mentioning, is in fact the SG barrel jacket. ![]() Glad you enjoyed it! Russ |

There's a couple parts I'm still not 100% happy with, but overall I'm please with the way it all turned out. Are you reading the original or the "director's cut" version? |

Which ever one was the longest. It was really good. Thumbs up! ![]() |

Yeah, the longer one (20 odd pages longer) shows how it all went down after Ripley left. The "shorter" one omits all the exposition. I like the longer one the best, but then I'm a big fan of special features. ![]() |
