The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Recently I gave an Xbox 360 game to a friend and he sent me some Alien Kubricks as a surprise 'thank you' gift:

So I decided to extend the collection a bit, by buying the Powerloader Set:

It arrived today:

Note the scars on Ripley's face: :)

The PL has movable arms and legs:

Getting Ripley inside and fitting the cage around her was a BITCH!

A couple of posed shots:

I seem to remember seeing that Space Jockey Mezit at a local store, but was put off from buying it because it literally had a "flat top" head. The top of it's head was so flat, you could have sat a tea cup on it.

But looking at the pictures above, it doesn't seem to have this problem?

Is what I'm seeing above, and what I saw in person perhaps two different products?

These ones are made by Medicom in Japan:

Mez itz Alien Kubricks look more 'cartoony' than these ones.

Kubricks are the originals. Then other companies got in on it.

So if they made 2001: A Space Oddessy... would they be Kubrick Kubricks?
