Last Christmas I received the Hot Toys powerloader as a gift (now, that's what I really call a gift!!!), and felt so excited about it that, just like a child, I immediately began the construction of it (I couldn't wait to see it in all its impressive 1:6 glory). However, I found a problem during the constrution that's still bugging me and doesn't allow me to fully enjoy it: the pistons at the back (i.e.: the ones connecting the shoulders to the "tail") just don't extend: no matter how I pull, they seem to be fixed, and the result is that my powerloader is currently displayed with the arms fixed in an upright position, just like praying for help from Above or something.

Have any of you found the same problem?. How did you solve it?. I don't want to force the extension of the pistons 'cause I'm in fear to break them and ruin that Hot Toys masterpiece. I suspect that some kind of resistance is required in order to be able and fix the arms in different positions and not to have them permanently facing down, so maybe there is some kind of hidden button to release and fix them or something like that?.

Alot of people have had this problem, including myself... I just had to pull on one end of the piston until it came out. It'll take some doing but I think it's all you can do. It's tricky.

I had the same problem, in fact, I think everyone who bought this had this problem. You just have to gently apply force till the inner cylinder slides out. I'd recommend either wearing some gloves, or wrapping a towel around one end while you pull.

The force you have to apply fricken hurts if you use your bare hands!

Yeap had the same problem, i also had problem with the wiring the lights and sound would come on when the button was pushed...bit of repeated fiddling...it works fine now...

Same problem here. Unfortunately, you have to pull pretty hard to get the pistons to extend. I broke the ends off trying to get them out.

Thank you very much all of you!!. It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one to find this problem, and that with a little more effort it an be solved (I was really afraid I could break the piston and ruin that impressive masterpiece). I'll immediately put my gloves in (thank you for the tip!) and give it a try.
