The colors are a bit off but, wow, I never realized how close the two patterns are! Find a reliable way to fade the Multicam down, and you might have yourself a rather good substitute there! |

The multicam in the pic has been washed at least 20 or so times. I use if for airsoft all the time. Its pretty faded from when I first got it. Still its not a bad subsitute....better than safariflage ![]() ![]() |

There are some other advantages to the Multicam over Safariflage or most other off the shelf camo patterns (tiger stripe, etc)- -The Mandarin collar is standard with Multicam (HUGE bonus as you have to convert just about most others into a makeshift Mandarin collar). -There are no lower pockets (just like a USCM BDU top). Again another step toward screen accuracy, and makes it easier to tuck into your pants. ![]() Really if I didn't own two sets of USCM pattern BDUs I'd get Multicam. Hell I might just buy a set anyway; it rocks! ![]() |

I have never ordered from them. Ihave heard some negative things though. Most of my multicam came from Crye itself...or here http://www.uscav.com/home.aspx?cm_mmc=Google%20Adwords-_-general_uscav-_-Exact%20Match-_-uscav Truspec is the brand. nice stuff. Holds up really nicely. Affordable too. Ebay sometimes has some nice stuff from time to time. |

BDU.com has them for $30 each for BDU style (if youd rather tailor your own collar), or $40 each for ACU style. BDU style: http://www.bdu.com/F545414377.html http://www.bdu.com/F520114377.html ACU style: http://www.bdu.com/F541838377.html http://www.bdu.com/F521838377.html Ranger Joe's has them for the same price ($40 each): http://www.rangerjoes.com/shirt-6535-ac ... -3945.html http://www.rangerjoes.com/pants-6535-ac ... -3947.html The USCav link looks like a good source as well. |

![]() today is not my day...i was thinking earlier, too, about how some people "complain" or "brag" or several other terms i cant think of right now about how either they didnt get what they wanted, or that they can get whatever they want, or whatever... nothing personal, Kev; just tired of not having money for things like this... although on a side note, my Spat armor comes first anyways...oh well. |

I went with multicam- from BDU.com I got the collar converted and the lower pockets removed, and now I'm working on fading and weathering. |

Understood, multicam is a very viable option! I haven't checked in years, but Polish used to run about $80 for a set, plus shipping. |

Looks like I'm going for Multicam now. That's surprisingly not as bad as I thought. Might do some bleach and dye tests with it! |
