The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Very Nice indeed Nick as said earlier. Though now seen on you,looks even better.
You can see it looks great with the floating method it has now than attached to the back armour.

Waaay to Go Nick & Waaaay to go Terry & Spat.

:)

Nick what did you use to dirty-down your paint finish? A lot of folks used what Terry English used; 'Zebo' grate polish, but like our old friend Brown Bess it's no longer made.

MIG pigment powder. the black one found in the "rust and smoke" set. apply with sponge and seal in with matt spray varnish. :)

Cool, I'd never heard of MIG pigments before, but I have now!

Fortunately I live about 5 minutes walk from a model shop so I'll pop round when I can and see if they stock them.

Cheers!

I really like the paint job you've done on your armour Nick; and this is the Spat armour? It looks great! I don't have any armour (except for a helmet which is in storage in England) yet - looks like I'm gonna save up for some Spat armour!! Is their a thread on this board I can go to that'll give me guidance on where to get different parts of the equipment - i.e. Shoulder Light, Pulse Rifle, BDU's (I know MAA is working on a new set of those)...Thanks! :D

And Nick thanks for posting the photos.

There's lots of info in the Archives section, but as a guide, here's how I got my lot:

PR = G&P/MiM kit + TM M1A1: http://www.medwaypvb.com/pulse1.html
BDUs = 2Pat from MAA
Shoulder Lamp = Matsuo kit (which was built and painted for me, cos I'm useless at that stuff)
