The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I've been mad busy lately, so much so that after my Spat armour arrived it was packed away and has never resurfaced.

Now that my shoulder lamp is here I have everything but webbing pouches (on the way) but the main thing is that my armour's still green!

I've had no time to get my airbrush at the ready and the NSC date is closing!

So - if it comes to it am I OK to attend the drop in OD armour?

There's no problem with that that I am aware of mate. Just make sure to post pics when you DO get it painted.

Cheers

Just an idea, but you could use brushes and Tamiya paints. Get five 10ml tubs of each required colour, et voila!

I'm not painting mine until this weekend... Talk about cutting it fine!

Wear the green! People at DragonCon do it all the time. It's cool!

Don't worry about what the other guys are doing, be original!

:)

I shouldn’t worry about it.

Joe public won’t notice the difference.

To be honest, I'm only painting mine for the benefit of the AE...

After that, it may revert to OD!

I quite like the OD, just personal preference really.

Plus, OD armour and Soldier95 DPMs look awesome together!

Why not use Humbrol enamels? Its what they originally used.

Couldn't find any locally and nobody would guarantee delivery due to the postal strikes!
