Another forum I'm on (custom knives, gear, watches, gadgets, etc) has a very strong culture of giveaways. These can be as simple of lanyards & key fobs up to knives & other stuff worth several hundred dollars. They do them in lots of different styles, from "first one to say I'll take it", to random.org number generation based on the post number. I thought it was time to infuse a little bit of that lovin' onto this board.
So for this one, all you have to do is be the first one to post "I know what it is". You have to tell me what the part is (the source), and what it's used for (the prop). Hint - they're quite similar
This info HAS been on this board before. The first one to correctly give the answers (do it via PM and not a board post 
) gets a free full replica set of this parts assembly once all the molds are finished (they're nearly done). An overseas winner will have to pay 1/2 the shipping. The owner of the original parts is not eligible, since you'll get a set anyways
