Post subject: | Spulse Rifles |
Well, the Spulse Rifle MK II has had a pretty long life, and as with any set of silicone molds, sooner or later, it's time to retire them. As of now, there will be no more MK II Spulse Rifles being made by me. ![]() The molds still have some life in them, but it's getting to the point where I pull the resin from the mold, and then have to spend more and more time cleaning it up before it's ready to be shipped out to the buyer. This is the chance for someone to get very lucky, as the Spulse Molds are up for grabs. Many of the molds for the rifle parts are in very good shape, and have many, many more pulls out of them with no problem. Other molds have probably 10 more pulls out of them the way they stand, more if you're very careful and use a good amount of mold release. Realistically, these molds would be best suited for a person or group that wanted to make completed Pulse Rifles from these molds and sell them (or give them away for all I care), rather than making kits, since, like I said above, the pulls need a lot more clean up than it's worth (to me anyway). So if you like assembling and painting Pulse Rifles, this is a nice little side business for you! So, if anyone wants to attempt a foray into making Pulse Rifles, e-mail or PM me with an offer. This would be a great investment for someone in the UK, since the molds can go there without a problem (I can even deliver them to the NSC and save you a whole lot of money on shipping since the molds do weigh a lot), and then there will be some Pulse Rifles in country to help out everyone with this weapons ban on. Remember, a Rifle kit can sell for $200 or so, but a completed rifle can sell for $300 - $500 depending on the quality, so be sure to only contact me with realistic offers. Thanks! |

With the current exchange rate you should at LEAST offer 10 shells a dead ferret and a lemming! This would be a great deal for anyone in a "replica" restricted country (aka, Canada, UK, Australia). Russ |

It'd still be illegal to put them together in the UK however... ![]() |

Still plenty being sold on Ebay UK though, fully built and painted to look like the real thing, as yet, haven't seen any pulled. Could this new law just be another "storm in a teacup" ???? ![]() |

Moving this to e-bay tomorrow (Monday). Would much rather keep this in the family here on the boards. Anyone? |

Spat, I don't have the facilities to use molds, but I do have a friend that does. He casts stuff for a living, so would potentially be a serious buyer. He's not on these boards unfortunately, but he is a really nice guy and I'll more than happily vouch for him. Can you give a slight idea of the kind of money you're looking for, ball park? $200? $2000? $2000000? ![]() Let me speak to my friend, I'll get back to you as soon as pos. Phil. |

The MK II Spulse Rifle is done. The last one is for sale in my other thread. There will be no more made by me. But the MK III Spulse Rifle is a whole different story... |
