The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Yeah, sorry mate.

Actually after I read your post I threw the whole collection out. It's rubbish collection day* here so it's all gone.

So, for the NSC I need 14 people in costume to stand very still for 8 hours a day for the HHARCNA - the Harry Harris Aliens Replica Collection & No Archive.

Harry

*I mean they collect the rubbish, not that the actual process is rubbish. I'm sure they do a fine job and obviously meant to leave all those tin cans lying around in the street earlier.

If you see your rubbish collector sporting a set of Hudson armor in the morning, don't be surprised.

If I crush it up then everyone can have a piece, kind of like those costume fabric swatches!

I'm in... just as long as my piece is the biggest... and contains ALL the other pieces as well. ;)

Stupid question, but Is that a replica Harry, or the real deal?

So, should I just ask the rubbish collector to look at it and help me identify it when Harry throws it out?

I believe that little wire connection piece, the main eye piece,
and the large triangle base piece are the three items yet to be identified.

Personally, I currently believe the little "boot" is a
T- connector from a military radio.

It should be pointed out that Saintadjg's headset, while absolutely GORGEOUS, IS a reproduction and that particular cable connector may not be canon.

As far as I'm aware, the proper cable has a Neutrix microphone connector.

I'm sure I've seen a boot like that on an old military scope - but I can't find any pics of a similar item. Might have been while I was looking at tank periscopes. I think one end had a socket for a small lamp to illuminate the graticule in the scope.

It also resembles the head of a bicycle pump and a wire cover boot from a motorcycle or scooter (I bulid Vespas and Lambrettas)
