Waits for Dom to post..... ![]() You'll see why when you read his post. I personally have 6 grenades on my armor. 4 M40's, one blue and......uhh.....I think a white. I don't like to overload and make it look like they're being used. |

Your white grenade is an M60 White Phosphorous Incendiary Round. ![]() The Tech Manual doesn't go into specific loadouts for Marines, nor would this be standard procedure even today. Your loadout is based on mission parameters. |

There's a place near Tampa that sells Marine armor, plus other scifi and stuff like that. Whenever I go in there (about once a year) and we comment on things like how annoying it is to try to find a decent Stargate offworld jacket (without going broke) or about the USCM like the prices on 2pats or the like, his reply is always to look at the fellow costumer and reply: "That's what was issued to my unit". I think I like that sentiment. |

Beans & bullets. When I was jumping, we said "If you can't kill with it, then don't carry it". You quickly change your perspective on what to carry when you have to load it on your back and exit a Hercules aircraft from 900 feet at 0-dark 30. I always envied the mech troops, having an APC just behind you with tons of extra kit, ammo food & water. Saying all that, I carry 8 M40 grenades from my straps. The more, the merrier. Frankly, I think Dom is the frag whore, just check out some of his pics. He likes to carry 25. GO DOM GO! Mike |

I have about 12 on my bandolier. But it's a bandolier, not part of the armor. |

Last year Rex I was talking to the guy from Steel Dreams and they actually said the armor they sold to you was a used set that the guy used to own. The most ridiculous thing you can say to a USCM member is that you sold another member a set of your used armor and giggle about it like you screwed them over by doing it. I've not been a fan of theirs since. |

Place I know of in Florida near Tampa is Westerfield Studios. I believe they'll be at Assimilationcon this month. (Personally i prefer spat's work for cheaper and assembled vs WS prices) |
