I made my costume from a kit bought from a guy called Jay Boden (monsterroom). He has recently changed his email address due to spam so it might be better to PM him on AL (member: monsterroom). He's in Colorado, USA.
However, there is little chance that he would ship and you'd be able to assemble it in time for Halloween 2007
Also, I would say, the official AvP masks/gloves are shockingly bad for anything other than a throwaway costume. Not worth the money they charge even in US stores.
Was there ever a cheap simple Halloween Alien costume? I have seen a weird tan coloured one that was made in a factory in Shenzhen and sold for silly money in the late 90's. It's now out-of-stock everywhere and was almost child-sized. I actually tried to find the place when I visited Hong Kong/S China, unsuccessfully. I think they went bust.
