Went to south wales on the bike Saturday to see some online friends.

I had a great time. I don't go to many of these events but it was really good catching up with everyone again, and meeting new friends (that means you Axeman!).

Thanks to Andrew David for the accommodation, and I'd forgotten you were king of the breakfast fry-up too!

Was great to see everyone as usual and meet Axeman for the first time. Had a great time with my Pred's first outing. It was certainly not a dry heat in that thing :lol:

PS

Whilst at the show we were lucky enough to persuade Billy West to do some Futurama quotes for us but with a little UKCM tailoring to them.

Here is short vid of the quotes dubbed over some Futurama clips. It is pretty rough so dont diss me too much :)

Big thank-you to ADC for putting us up! I think you can see that Abe enjoyed this event immensely. Great to meet up with the usual suspects and a few new UKCM.

A special mention has to be made for Preston the Predator. Darren: You're a star! Abe and Preston seem to play nice together.

Great to see all you guys again. And great to meet Axeman!
The pin you and Mike did is a cool piece of work.

The lads in costume all did a brilliant job as usual – the number one costume draw. Darren's Predator outfit was impressive, well played, bro! And let's not forget Gareths dedication for comming down from Scotland.

I love these weekends, where the real world stops for a coupla days and we exist purely within the confines of the 'Aliens' world! :lol:

And hopefully I will remember some of the movie wisdom imparted to us from General 'Encyclopeadia' Harris. :shock:
These events are better with your presence, Harry, hope you get to more.

Missed Mantroon and Geordie – hey, Paul – great quotes, shame you weren't there to see Billy do them, but we got some footage you can see on Darrens video (it's a corker!)

Oh, and it's worth getting up early to make breakfast just so I can holler Apones best lines when I wake you lot up!

All are welcome for the next London event, whenever that is.
