The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Does anyone remember this thread?

From Jason's (Axeman) original idea for a badge to denote active service, or perhaps a drop veteran, the design went back and forth a bit until we settled on something people seemed to like. Well, the time has come. We have the badges in hand now and we're quite pleased with the results.

These are not home-made - we ended up using an English company to make them. They're pewter, with an 'aged' finish. They have two clutch pins on the back so they should be safe and secure on your BDUs!

Just in time for DragonCon? :)

If you are interested, please click the picture.

Thanks for all the feedback during the design process. It's a pleasure to make these real at last!

Mike,

I`ve been itching to show my BDU mounted pin since I got the proof.

I`d Like to say a BIG Thank`s to Mike for being a Great guy to help out on this project & for the designs put forth.
Also for getting the service sorted for casting.

Mike You ROCK mate.

Also I`d like to thank all you guys who par-took in the design phase of this & ultimatly & thankfully pushed for pewter or bust :D
Glad we could deliver the design most wanted & also that they are done in Pewter too.

I hope those who get one truely do like them & I`m looking forward to seeing photos of these on BDUs,welded on helmets even?
Also to seeing these in person on the UKCM at the Sept London convention.

Mike again Thank You for all the hard work mate.
You made a man happy taking my original sculpted ideas into this beautiful piece of work that hangs proudly on my BDUs.

Jason

AdonisSniper,
I believe with Paypal you can actually send in British Pound Sterling.

If you want to know an exact that would be $22.26 for one inclusive of shipping, for two inc shipping is $40.48.

That`s using the ebay currency conversion. If it`s accurate or not I don`t know, with ebay probably not.

Hope that helps.

Jason

Tarim-rex,
If you click on the photo, you`ll see that it`s the ONE off payment of £2 for shipping.
It`s just the actual badge No# your paying for.

So for 5 pins that`ll be £47 & that`s including the shipping.

Jason

I can't rule out another run but I wouldn't bank on it either. Tell you what: if it ever looks like these are going to sell out, I'll put up an alert here. Fair?
