Your welcome guys! Just make sure the one you get has a white border and not gold. Other than the silk screened set that I have, I found an off the shelf US flag that has a white border and is 2 1/4 by 3 1/2 inches. I think it was for a Navy uniform (?). It's what I have on my flak vest now. |

Careful, I doubt such an item would be washable! |

Yeah I'll have a yellow flag on my vest and my jacket... for some reason my local "Army surplus" store doesn't actually carry surplus... |

I washed the Material 5 times over the weekend, hot water and high heat in the dryer. There was some slight fading, which makes it look weathered, but it looks fine, no dye got onto other clothes and it didn't run. I'll try to post pictures tonight. |

John- I have an extra white border one (however it's the more common smaller sized). You want it? |

I'll try to post pictures tonight. Really? Well shut my mouth and call me corn-pone. What was the material you used called? If people could print their own patches at home, then we could all have accurate patches! Well, accurate for computer printed versus silk screened. |

Hey Guys! I have been around for a while but this is my first post. I found this site for White Border Flag Patches: http://www.acejackets.com/American_Flag ... tflagw.htm I don't know if this is the "perfect size" but they seem to look good. I hope this will help some of you out as this discussion group has really helped me out. I hope to meet up with you all some day and wish all of you the very best. - Jason |

Oh my God!! This stuff is fantastic! I MUST get some! I can see this getting expensive for me! All those little patch printing jobs I've been meaning to do...The possibilities are endless. Finally I can stop prototyping with paper and start producing on fabric. Yey! Excellent find!!! Well done!! |

I just looked over here from the link Chryse posted in the "U.S.S. Alamo" thread, and wondered: 1. How's this project going? Kevin mentioned subdued patches, etc... 2. Could we use this for the dress blue project? Ribbons, anyone? |
