The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Anyone knows anything about this expression? I assume that's from where "Fly friendly" comes? "Fly the friendly skies" appears to be a very well-known expression within the world above our heads... anybody care to tell me?

(Feel free to move the thread if necessary)

It was the motto of an Airline back in the 60s-80s and possibly 90s. I forget which one. One that I believe is out of business now.

When you say "Fly Friendly" are you referring to Ferro's helmet graffiti? If so then this actually has the full "Fly the friendlyskies" written on it.

Cheers

Darren

I believe that "Fly the friendly skies" was United's slogan back in teh 70's and 80's.

There was a member on the old board called fly friendly. I was forever getting him confused with Darren (Friendlyskies)
