old newspapers and magezines glued on with walpaper glue.

now the triggie thing is to get the body smooth
but if this is gooing wel. i wil do the back armor the same way.

hey that brings back memories....i built a set of armour the same way about 20 years ago...yours look much better than mine, i had only a few stills to work with... :wink:

i had two ideas to build an armor if this one is not going well.
i try a plastic rain barrel. and try to get the shape right with a heatgun.

Although this project is shaping up nicely... I strongly recommend blasting that sucker with lacquer once it's done... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I sweat profusely in armor... and I doubt your glue could withstand wearing it for extended periods of time!

First of all great job.

Secondly I would not bondo this as it will crack. I did this on my Jinroh. When it flexed the bondo cracked. Maybe you can coat it in resin or epoxy?

Fiberglass would be better. Smelly and messy as hell, but far more durable.
