Okay, it's getting to be that time of year again - a time when I'm flooded with requests from people looking for an Aliens Warrior costume. Insead of emailing everyone individually, I thought I'd point them to this thread... Problem is, I'M not even sure where one buys a costume for Halloween these days. Anyone got any ideas?

I made my costume from a kit bought from a guy called Jay Boden (monsterroom). He has recently changed his email address due to spam so it might be better to PM him on AL (member: monsterroom). He's in Colorado, USA.

However, there is little chance that he would ship and you'd be able to assemble it in time for Halloween 2007

Also, I would say, the official AvP masks/gloves are shockingly bad for anything other than a throwaway costume. Not worth the money they charge even in US stores.

Was there ever a cheap simple Halloween Alien costume? I have seen a weird tan coloured one that was made in a factory in Shenzhen and sold for silly money in the late 90's. It's now out-of-stock everywhere and was almost child-sized. I actually tried to find the place when I visited Hong Kong/S China, unsuccessfully. I think they went bust.

We are working on making one, it takes some time and effort but is coming out nicely. I have to agree about the alien head and hands, they only manufacture one head and then not everyone wants that one. We usually buy them and then remodify them to get what we want. I made all the armor and sewed the body suit. If you need help we would be happy to help. Just send us a line.
