Are you sure it's a Racal Minilite headset you need for an X-Wing helmet?
I just looked on Jez's http://www.starwarshelmets.com site and the X-Wing helmet he has on there looks like it has a different mic on it, like this one:

I think it depends on the movie helmet you are reproducing- All of the x-wing pilot helmets had Racal microphones in A New Hope: 
I believe for Empire and Jedi they had the microphone you posted Harry.

Have you tried contacting RA? http://www.richiesarmor.com/misc.htm About 3/4 down the page. I know that Steve of RA is a member here and from what I remember there was some talk of not producing them anymore. (although I could be mistaken on that) Never hurts to ask. |

I have a Racal Minilite for sale... Contact me via PM if interested... I will sell it for what I paid for it (EDIT: Paid exactly £62 for it one year ago so that equals $126.50 today folks...) Thought back then I would have use for it but I'm making Apone, Ferro and Drake and none of them has got the Minilite so I guess I was wrong
