The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Circumstances have forced me to this...

I uploaded a page with my armor.

http://s171.photobucket.com/albums/u307/Matsucorp/armor/

$800 worth of helmet and armor.
$245 worth of working shoulder lamp

I'll take $850 plus shipping for the lot.

If I don't get any takers I'll be willing to haggle.

Matt

I remember that suit! The first time I met Matt at DragonCon, I walked up behind him and asked him who made the armor. It looked really detailed and I was curious who my competition was.

He looked me square in the face and said, "That Spat guy."

Which goes to show that I have been making armor for way too long because I can't tell my armor from someone else's!

Sad to see it go, Matt, but if you ever want a replacement suit, let me know. I'll only mark it up 50% for you!

Stonedog, Nick...PM's Sent.

Spat, I remember those days, I hope to get back on the convention circuit one day once I get my life back in order.

The one thing that makes that armor stand out is the shading and highlighting I've done. It's an old stagecraft trick that really brings out the detail and sometimes brings out details that arent, or are barely there.

Thanks DSB, no my hand is fine, "Strong like bull"
It's partly due to a high dollar refund I have to cover and partly because my truck needs engine work, (which pretty much happened the same day).

I'm selling a bunch of stuff but only things I have on hand, I don't want my current wait list to suffer.

Here's something special.

This is an Eagle LBV set up for LEO shotgun use. Has a fold down pouch for 20 12 gauge shells or pulse rifle grenades

This came form an overstock buy out from Eagle many years ago. There were lots of 'prototype' vests in the lot, many of which never made it to production, and many one off customs and a few repair jobs that never went back. Anyway we took the best from the lot and we auctioned off the rest.

Asking $140, (what I paid for it.)

Due to the uniqueness of this item I'm sure I could make money on it on ebay but you guys get first dibbs.

I put it in a box and weighed it, it weighs, 5lbs 8 oz

Which comes to a$39.30 for priority international, or $51.25 for express.

Rates went up last month and some services were cut all together, I'm afraid those are our only choices.
