Marines,

Well know that DCon is less than two months away and that we will soon be parading in the streets of Atlanta.

I am looking for suppor for the creation of a USCM flag to lead us in the parade. This flag will cost $170 and it's not feasible for me to do this project alone... I therefore ask for your help.

If you are interested in making this happen, I ask that you send whatever amount you wish to donate.

I will send a few bucks, but I think you should reconsider the flag and spend the money on a flag that says "ALIENS"

It makes sense Joe... but this would look as cool as Mobile Infantry guys with a flag that says "Starship Troopers".

With our bug Squashed Spider in the parade with us, I think people will know what we are.

I would go for the flagpole rather than refunds. Could you let us know how close we get to adding the flagplole? Might see if I can throw in more if were close. I believe this will add a bit of style to our bunch of grunts...and bug.

Not even close to getting the flagpole yet, much like the flag... donations stand at $73.54 so far, we're still at $92.79 to go. Thanks to all who've sent their help to date... we've even had a gift from Chris aka FNG... God bless him.

Deadline to order to receive it on time is August 3rd, so dig deep marines.

BTW, I didn't ask previously, but if nobody objects, I will post the names of the donors and the amounts of the gifts on this thread.
