The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

OK, I've got or ordered everything now I think; the only thing I don't have is the webbing parts.

I'm going for the Hudson look so does anyone know what screen accurate webbing parts I need? Are they real world items or were they made for the film?

i dont know what items were used to make the movie webbing straps, but i used WWII cross strapsfor mine. be warned though that the material used is quite thick and so sewing will have to be done by proper machinery. think it turned out ok :).......

Wow, that does look pretty sweet mate!

I was also wondering about the various pouches/pockets etc on the webbing.

I've been going with 58 pattern webbing pouches myself.

I also did the same as nick-a-tron and used cross straps as a basis for the suspenders. They are a bugger to sew. ;)

These are the components I made a few sets of in comparison to Harry's Dietrich stunt set. Really could've done with dullar green material and paint, but oh well.
