Ok marines, it's time to step up to the ready line... it's an annual tradition to donate goodies for the USCM raffle and to give them away to all the good little marine boys & girls at DCon. In the absence of FNG, I will be coordinating this year's raffle.

Those of you who will attend, I will collect your donations at DCon.

Those of you who will not attend and wish to donate, please PM to obtain my address in order to send it to me. Keep in mind that I don't want to get kicked in the ass with excessive duties, so please do not donate any Pulse Rifles (God bless ya if you wanted to, though).

I myself will be giving out a few goodies (you know I'm just CHOCK full o' USCM goodies), so dig deep marines and let's make this fun!

Ironically, I've had emails from both Chris and Alex in the last 48H. Chris said that he wasn't sure & that it would be a last minute call... Alex doesn't seem interested in any fandom ever again.

Last time I emailed Chris was back in March (I really should remedy that :( )- he said D-Con was iffy for him "as always".

(Not trying to rehash anything but)... Well before the blowout last year, Chris was talking like he would not be able to come to D-Con in '06. He was bummed about not bringing the 1/6 APC, and was looking for an excuse to bail. About a month before the con, he said that going would be a last minute decision for him.

My opinion only, but I think he's done with coming to D-Con.

A couple months ago I picked up an auction on feeBay containing tons and tons of Aliens literature... it was someone's entire collection, basically, and I picked it up for 50 US bucks. In all honesty, I only really wanted it for the new-condition Tech Manual, hehe, so I wouldn't mind donating some of the other novels and comics and whatnot to the raffle. I'll bring the box and let you paw through it in Atlanta, Dom.

I really hope he can make it, but ultimately it is his choice.

Hopefully he's like my wife. She hates getting ready and spends a month or so before hand not wanting to go but when the time comes she's first packed and waiting on me.

I apologize in advance if this might offense or upset someone IDK
but dont mean to sound hostile but what about Brian(Anubian Warrior)? He was affected also in that event and seems everyone forgot. Like Chris, he helped many of you and myself in this beautiful USCM Fandom. SO when I toast he will be in my mind along with Chris. Sorry I just had to speak up for my friends.
