The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Not you too?...

What happens in the UK eventually finds its way over to the States. Or something...

Quote:
SECTION 1. BAN ON REALISTIC-LOOKING TOY HANDGUNS.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission shall promulgate a rule in accordance with section 9 of the Consumer Product Safety Act (15 U.S.C. 2058) to declare as a banned hazardous product under section 8 any toy which in size, shape, or overall appearance resembles a real handgun.

Well, I know most companies in the U.S. stopped making toy guns with a realistic paint job, most guns sold now are molded in bright neon colors. I still see the occasional pistol that, with a repaint, would look pretty convincing.

Hell, I was still a kid when they started casting everything in bright neon colors or with tiger stripes or both. That was years ago.

Also realise, airsoft guns are not toys, as they cannot be legally purchased by anyone under the age of 18 (at least here in California).

So they should be O.K.
