Seems like HCG (Hollywood Collectables Group) is about the only guys doing anything marine related in the Aliens franchise. The other day they announced a 1/4 scale Hicks statue.

It is nice. It is not without faults (the biggest of which is the HUGE ab pad & ab/crotch armor and knife that is way too long), but I think it is pretty damn cool.
There have been 1/4 scale warriors and Ripleys before, but this is the first 1/4 scale marine.

Looks like the only difference between the numbered 150 'exclusive' and the 500 main issue is a name plate. Meh.

Overall not too shabby.

The shotgun scabbard is a bit oversized as well.

I haven't purchased from HCG before. Are the final products pretty close to the prototype pictures? With a payment plan at $60 a month, I don't really see an excuse to not get it. Though, I do wish Hot Toys would revisit the Marines.
