Does this place need moderators? Bots have been attacking for over a week, and looking at the "Administrator/ moderator group" member list, I see there are admins and moderators listed, that have not been around in years. Is someone on top of this? ( I first posted in the Off topic forum, but the bots quickly pushed it to page 20 something... twice. ) |

It's been raised ... my understanding is there's only one person with "full" admin rights. I've offered to assist with moderation (if given the rights). |

The fact that one of the spam accounts has been posting constantly for days without being banned shows that we really do have a problem. I'd be willing to help out as well. |

I have cleaned up all the forums that people reported, it looks like Off Topic got hit the worst. That will take some time to clean up. As to why, I am not sure. all the anti spam bot measures are turned on the forum. Unfortunately, I believe the forum is quite out of date and we have no one with the knowledge to update it. Once a solution is found, we will implement it. thanks |

this is rumor control, here are the facts! It seems banning the IPs have all but stopped the spam bots. We would ask that everyone continues to report posts so that mods and admin can ban the spammers. Another issue that Ive noticed, is the forum email is not sending emails to mod staff, notifying them of pending posts that are reported. I will see why that is and get back to you all thanks |
