Found this Led keychain.
Very bright.
Different modes, including red.

This won't be the final set-up, but I did think for a few minutes...
With the hook portion removed, it looks pretty sharp, straight out of the box.
Fits perfectly in the 1.75" center hole of the lamp. The slight friction, along with the force of the magnet on the rear folding clip, holds it in place very well.
One could almost go with this, as is. Popping the Led out, switching modes, and putting it back in place.

Got a chuckle seeing this whole shoulder lamp used to simply hold a led keychain.
I'll be seeing about combining this with a halogen bulb reflector, and building something more "legit".

A few tweaks remain. Some shrink tubing here... Some spots of super glue there.
But, I believe I have the electronics pretty nailed down.

After dismantling the Reflecta, I cut a piece of plexi, the correct shape to sit down in the lamp head, resting on the existing posts.

Dismantled the rechargeable LED keychain and super glued the rubber pad back onto the push button.

The 1/8" plexi, along with the shape of the key chain internals, allowed the button to be perfectly aligned with the previous fuse holder opening.
The pieces fit nicely. Low profile, with room to spare.

With a Dremel glass grinding bit, proper protection, and a small stream of running water in the workshop sink, I cut and ground open a glass halogen bulb.
Perfectly smooth to the touch, inside and out.

I removed the old internal wires from the original Reflecta power cord, and with the help of a little wire lube, fished new wires into the old sleeve.

Cut open the charging cord that came with the keychain, and used the connectors from it, to create a new cord, using the Reflecta sleeve.

Ran the wires through the plexi, then curved back again to the bottom of the charging port/ connector.

It worked.

The button from the key chain, falls into place, aligned with the fuse port, and slightly recessed.
Pushing the button repeatedly, the light switches from "High- Medium- Low- Red- Red blinking".

* The button can be left as it is, ... But my next step is to cut the top of the old fuse holder, that once fit into the opening, and superglue that onto
the rubber pad, leaving it to look original, with the button still functional.

The other end of the charging cord in the Alarm Box.

Now in original Humbrol 170.

Kept most of the identifying marks on the pieces.
Finding a balance between full accuracy and not hiding the fact of real parts.
