I was originally going to keep this 'as received' for collectible value, but, ya know, to hell with that!
This was a fun little job! The shrouds are easily removed once all the screws are out, you just need to unscrew the counter, speaker and stock once you are inside and everything separates niceley.
I didn't mess around with it a whole lot, since I wanted everything to still function as intended. I squared up the rounded corners of the shroud where it meets the top of the Spas Cage and sanded off all the extraneous logos and the little triangle next to the PR counter. The black stripes also need to be sanded down, or they show through the newly primed parts. I also filled the indented 'lip' at the top of the mag base, added the screw on the bottom of the grip, sanded back the proturberance under the shotgun barrel, lenhthened the bolt and added the screw plate on the pump and sling loops.
The shrouds were airbrushed with Premium Blaster Brown. The colour looks pretty good to me, it's a little 'greener' than I remember the real Brown Bess and the LDR recreation, but it definiteley looks the part, and I will use it again when I finally get around to building an incinerator.
