Hi all Working on a stock release button that will allow me to move my metal stock back and forth and will lock in place. I drilled 3 detent holes on my stock and the last is way off. Any way to fill it and redrill without welding it?

JB Weld is probably the best bet.

If the third hole will remain hidden, perhaps no need to do anything, and just drill a fourth?
Otherwise I would agree... JB Weld.

or dremel it wider in order to "center" it. It may not be functional but should look like you did it on purpose at least. It might be less of an eye-sore.
