Post subject: | Dropship "Wings" Badge |
Apologies if there's a thread for this on the forum but I've done a couple of searches and haven't found anything. I've seen photos of a metal dropship wings badge (like a pilot qualification badge) online and was wondering if anyone knew who made/makes these. It's of a front view of a Cheyenne dropship with wings either side of it. Any help would be much appreciated! |

Hey there, there's a shop on Etsy (JustAPieceOfPlastic) that sells them. It looks like the seller is taking a short break but should pop back up soon. |

Thanks for the additional heads up. I'm thinking of picking one up but it's on the backburner now as getting my name tag/wings badge embroidered for my dropship flight jacket project ain't cheap! |

Here's a little bit of history about these wings: Designed by Mike Rush and Jason 'Axeman' Stead, they were produced in silver, pewter and gold finishes. The pewter and silver were sold commercially by Mike. The gold versions were never for sale and were presented to those who made outstanding contributions to the 'Aliens' community, as can be seen on the Aliens Legacy Wall of Fame thread. Harry |

Harry I was curious about the Gold Award sir. Are there none left, as there haven’t been any awarded for a while? (sorry to derail thread) |
