The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I modeled the dog tags in Fusion 360. It took a bit of adjusting the size and spacing of the text to line up correctly. The serial number is still off a bit, but I think it's going to be good enough.

I upped the extrusion rate to over stuff plastic. The text was filled in with od paint. I started with 60 grit sand paper to remove the top and bottom layer lines. Then switched to nail files and went through the grits until it was polished. Finally it was coated with Pledge floor polish.

I decided to split up the serial number into multiple sections of text. That worked and I was able to get it lined up.

I've uploaded the Pt. Hudson tags to thingiverse.

I'm working on the rest of the tags. They'll be based off of this one, but each name needs several adjustments in size of the text and spacing to fit.

Those look pretty good for 3D printed!
Be even nicer off a resin printer, I'd guess.

Helevetica for the rank
HeleveticaNeue Condensed for the name and serial number

I searched quite a bit and those were the closest matching that I could find. There are some slight differences, but for the most part they look very close.
