The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

In the past month, I've picked up both an AGM MG42 and a 3D Printer.

Looking at a number of different files for the M56, but I wanted to ask if anyone here has found a set (pref. free) that they are happy with.

Looking for headset files as well!

smartazzgunner has made files I think.

He also made 3d files for the should lamp. The fins on the lamp I had to go with a resin cast ones from spat due to heat and spacing issues.

I just took a 1/8" steel plate and trimmed it down a little for the back piece and used a spats mounting kit for the shoulder lamp.

I still have not gotten to solving issues with the weight on the headset, but, I have fully functional electronics stuffed in it.

I am only using portions of it, but this free model has suited my needs quite well:

What are you using for an eyepiece? I was looking at the Vufine, but I've heard a lot of bad things about them.

What kind of printer do you have Erik, Resin or PLA?
Here is the headset I printed on an elegoo mars pro resin printer.
It is not free and you will need some additional parts, but it is a very nice model:

my review and build pics are at the bottom of the page.
This designer also made smartgun parts for an airsoft mg42 (so they should fit your AGM)

Don’t know if this Should be in PX or here but just letting you know a friend of mine just finished a VP70 file. His a 3D modeller for ford so it’s been very well designed.

Generally it is intent. If it is a signifigant contribution to the discussion it is OK to post outside of PX.
