The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I was looking on off the shelf options for a working joe costume.

I found this bottom piece that is a bit close to game color on alien isolation:

Dude! Your link is scary ... why do I need to provide a capture???
30sec google search - https://www.horacesmall.com/products/details/348166

Have you sourced a suitable mask yet? I'm pretty sure the best place to start looking is latex fetish sites/stores ... not sure I want to start that task on my work PC though ...

If there is interest, Mark K might be able to provide the mask.

Thanks!

If you want a working joe mask, you should talk to my good buddy Obi-wan Kowalski.

I have been working on Joker's mask for a bit. Been a lot of disruptions at home. I just need to find a free day to paint. Family 1st of course. Plus the kids are always eager to help.

Here's one of my Working Joes. The uniform was made by a UK costume maker. I bought it second hand but I could give the information off the tag to anyone who was interested.

Damn I wish my Joe's jacket looked that nice. I did finally find some time to start the base coat for the mask. Not sure if i am happy with the color. Joker, any suggestions as to where to go with it? Add more white with a little flesh color?

Well the key on the joes is to remember that if you really dig into the game. They were mass produced and in isolation they were whitish. But really they were mass produced to have a humoresque appearances. Just keep it simple on the colors so I can easily repaint if needed please. Though I would add that that would also be a thing with the joes flesh tones. They were designed for easy maintenance.

In alien isolation they had a pale white flesh tone.

The ellen ripley costume could work for an amanda ripley cosplay.

Nice find on the suit, Joker. How did you find the sizing (what you ordered vs the size you normally wear)?
