An Australian company called Scale Model Supply or SMS paints has just finished making a Brown Bess based on an old tin of 170 humbrol I sent them. Got news yesterday that his finished.
If this is anything like their other paints I’m going to be impressed. As I’ve stopped using Alclad paints and started using theirs as it’s by far better and a little bit cheaper. I Believe the product will be available to the overseas market.

Is this strictly for airbrushing or can it be applied with an analog brush?

It can be brushed on. But it’s made for airbrushing. The website explains how to brush it on. I’ve brushed it on before with no dramas

They need to get it here in the US. We currently have no brown bess etc local. That imo opinion looks exactly like the humbrol I was lovingly gifted by wtyler here.

Hi,
Looks like this is one of their newest shades! We will definitely carry this color in the future, however, we would not receive any until our next shipment. We typically receive their entire line of currently available/manufactured, colors in stock with each shipment as we like to offer their complete line. We did just receive a shipment from them recently, but should be receiving another next month. Hopefully, this stock will also include this new shade as well!

Sounds promising. Maybe put your order or expression of interest in now so you dont miss out when it arrives. Just in case they dont order much
