The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ever since i got The Book Of Alien when it first came out in '79, one of my favourite photos in it was the pistol, labelled a "Roger Christian Special". Liked it so much, i built my own a few years back :D

Love it. More build details please! 8) 8) 8)

I've a couple of single point scopes, just waiting to turned into one [or possibly two] of these.
I'm still hunting round for a suitable base gun; was thinking of possibly a Star Wars SE-14R Blaster 3D print ...

Septic, i've got a Youtube channel, but built it while i couldn't get access to the channel, so no in progress vids there. There is this one though, of my completed pistol:

You’ve done a great job there! Is that a Shawn Morgan (‘MorganThirteen’) casting?

The Shawn Morgan repros are amazing. I inherited one and I am deathly afraid of getting the paint job wrong. The originals were sprayed with a weird mix of metallic paints and it can easily go wrong...

Does Shawn still make these? I know it was some time ago, they were great kits. Yours looks terrific Mangamax.

I've considered making a replica of this pistol as well from time to time. If I ever get round to it I'll start by getting hold of a Star Wars SE-14 replica that used the same SMG as a base, move the main scope and add a replica single point sight to the magazine base (although I do have a real shell lying about somewhere). I think that will cover just about everything apart from the narrow muzzle section.
