The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

After a few years of searching and then 2 months & 22 days of patiently waiting, I finally got'em! I am beyond happy! All 10 figures!! These will go perfect with my Hiya Toys Colonial Marines APC. And , no, these are not cupcakes!

All I need now is to find 6 more marines to make some custom figures of Crowe, Dietrich, Frost, Hudson, Vasquez & Wierzbowski. I also have to learn how to make custom figures.

Soon! Very soon! I heard the joints on these are super fragile so I plan on giving them a post-boiling hot water soak before I assemble each one

I read the same thing in an old toy review. Apones head snapped off and hicks leg made the guys thumb go numb. Boiling seems like a good idea. could effect the paint. hair dryer through a tiny metal funnel?

I won't be boiling them in an actual pot. Lol More like, fill a small bowl with boiling water and then drop each part in for a 5-10 seconds. It'll soften the plastic enough to put them together and it won't harm the paint. I've done something similar with other figures with great success. This is also a good method for popping limbs off that woks on some plastic figures. The "boil & pop" method. hahaha

I have 4 marines and they are all either headless or armless! I didn't preheat any, but I also wasnt the original breaker of 2 of them. One of them I got everything on alright and the arm popped off later in life. Either way these are awesome. They destroy the much newer Hiya entries into the scale. Great score.

Thanks!! And I agree, the details (though not 100% screen accurate) on these figures are there and are light years better than Hiya's Colonial Marines figures. Better accessories too. I don't know what Hiya was thinking when they were designing that toy line. At least they did right with the APC!

Wish hiya had bought the molds and re released the same figures with new paint and accessories.
I feel the same about the Lenard ones, what were they thinking.
