As you know, Alclad II do a British Brown Bess, which is virtually identical to the old Humbroll BB. If however you are struggling to get hold of it, Archive X paints (another UK based firm) are bringing out their own Vintage Brown Bess, which is also supposed to be identical to the old Humbrol and they do mail order. https://archivexpaint.com/products/ex-0 ... oming-soon The more available Brown Bess colour is, the better. |

Looks like they do ship to the US, I put in another paint which was 12 gbp, and shipping was 13.50gbp... so the cost for one jar is 25.50gbp or $34.20usd at time of writing. I didn't go as far as hitting 'buy'. Pricey! But, great to see another supplier. |

Not sure if they are prepared for the flood of orders from us as a group of individuals though... |

Let us know how you get on with those, as the first bottle of Alclad I received was spot on colourwise. But the next few bottles I bought seemed more of a Brown/Green colour??? I'm going to give Alclad another go, but going to see how I get on with the Archive X paint before ordering more. |
