Hey there !

I'm working on a replica from those babies :

You're right, handguns from JeanPierre Jeunet's "Alien Resurection".
I'll go for the short barrel first, then if some of you are interested, I'll make a second version, for the true fans ;) .

This is where I stand right now :

More to come ! ;)

looks great, probably the only firearm in alien ressurection that i thought looked any good. Wasn't a fan of any of the other gear, that rifle was downright ugly to me.

Did like the thermos cannon though :D

is this cast or printed? really clean work either way.

You're right, Resurection has the most "Cartoon-like" weapons. Not very realistic. Probably because of the mastermind behind this sequel. (I love that guy ! Ok, I'm French too...)

This is 3D printed on an SLA Mars Pro2.
I had a few cracks due to my impatience mood ! But i repaired, and will paint-to-death this rough piece of deadly hardawre ! ;)

Jean-Pierre Jeunet has done a bunch of excellent movies. Definitely worth checking out Delicatessen and Micmacs; quirky, dark humour 8)

@buissonland love your work, I've fav'ed your Etsy store to remind me to pick something up in the new year :)
I've also just realised that I bought your WASP model ages ago! Must get round to printing that one!

Here it is !

I'm pretty please with this paint job and weathering.
I was inspired by close ups from the real prop, cause you can't see much on screen...
