The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just thought i would post a few quick pics of my new prop used purchase that I'm really pleased with! (obviously not screen used).

I believe this to be the same hat spunkmeyer wore in the canteen aboard the Sulaco!

I've read posts discussing the hat and it being mentioned that it was probably fabricated for the movie. To be honest i was beginning to think the same but then again its a hat from the 80s so probably not many left!

If you're wondering why I've cut the ears off of my display head its because he usually sports Feros helmet and it was the only way to slip it on. Not for any other reason!!!

Do you happen to know where i can source screen accurate patches for my mk11 flight suit?

I don't I'm afraid. A few folks did runs of them a while back but I'm not sure if anything is generally available these days. Sorry.

Is your visor underside green? Because I have the same cap lying around for about 20 years or so, and she is green at the underside...

Greetings

Ok, strange..., so there are more than just one model of the “Right” cap out there..
My cap looks exactly like yours, the same logo, the same scrambled eggs on top of the visor, its made in the US in the 80s..
It just have the green visor underside..., funny stuff.. :-)
