The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I like em. I also 'love' comments on facebook like "how is that Aliens related?". PFFTT!!! Dang people...

Part of me wants to make a play for a pair. Part of me wants Reebok to shove any all current and future variants of bugstompers where the sun don't shine. Their handling of these things is maddening. Probably won't matter as they'll sell out in minutes anyways long before I get a shot.

These things are like unicorns. I hear tales of them, but I've never seen one in the wild.

wild that they did this. I wish theyd done a black toecap and black sole like the nam boots. the had uscm logo and a black reebok on the side. saved the yellow weyland stuff for inner parts. the inner sock could have been uscm camo. this seem more like if i was playing with my neca figures on acid and then looked at my shoes.

I wonder why they dont assume everyone just wants the Ripley boots in all sizes for a fair price. maybe the market is just limited to collectors of each color way. If the ripely boots were 150 or less I'd own two pair. Would love a black and OD pair of those.

Yeah Willie and me worked with Reebok on these (and the other versions in the Aliens range) and sometimes it's hard for even us to get them, at least in our sizes (not that we'd ever wear them I suppose so it's a bit of a moot point).

Oh, also I don't know why they've put eyebrows over the Hudson eyes either. There were some staff changes along the way so maybe that accounts for the design slip-up.

I really like these! I'm by no means an expert on the specifics of the designs, but it looks close enough to the Aliens camo to my eyes! Was that one of the things you provided Harry? Think I'm gonna attempt to get these.

Yes I sent them reference of the camo, patch artwork and possibly Dropship nose art / crew jacket artwork too (I'd have to go back on my emails to check for sure as it was a few years ago now, way before the Disney takeover of Fox IIRC).

The toe should be camo too. Having the flap and toe both be a boring sand color makes the whole thing look unbalanced.

Not sure how long these have been out, but it looks like they also did a LOW top tennis-shoe style version of the original design. Not quite what we want, but all the sizes look to still be available so far (up to 12) and they are actively being sold on the website right now.

On one hand, I hate them. On the other, I just ordered them. :?

I was able to order one. It appears that there is additional coding on the site to prevent automated bots from snatching all of the inventory.

Code DB50 gets you 50 percent off, so you can get these for 60 bucks.

Thanks Willie! I just bought a pair of the classics for my wife. I wear 13.5 wide so it was never an option for me, but both my boys are growing fast so somebody will get to wear these for a photo or something.

Rats, I think that code only works in the US. I just tried it on the UK site and got a message saying it wasn't recognised. :(

Daaaaaaaamn. I hate paying 'list price'! And now my size 12s are sold out, so no cancelling my order and re-buying with the coupon. Maybe some 11.5s will fit....
