The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I have ordered parts and tools to get this forward. Might take a couple of weeks before they arrive, though.
I'll keep you posted.

OK, I checked alibaba.com. I found a supplier and it is only 50 or so dollars for a thousand piece order minimum.

https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 15e78un8gR

And it has the sizes you need I think.

Those are DIN 963. I can get them from Europe quite fast.
DIN 964 I can't find anywhere.

Alibaba specializes in customized orders. Reach out to the seller I suppose...

Terran helped with some measurements. The rest I had to eyeball.

spat sells a resin cast kit of the beyerdynamic tips which would be a better option. But going with the brake line adapters I would just need to cut some flashing down and do a wrap with them and it would be a quick facsimile with off the shelf parts.

I had to borrow my father's brake line bender tool which you will need. You should be able to buy one at the auto parts store. His blue point brake line bender was a breeze to use. If you try to bend by hand you will get kinks.

5 inches past the bend for the top part and I estimate one inch below the bend on the bottom part. The beyerdynamic tips were about 2-3 inches in length.
