I am assuming it would have been Brown Bess... I need to redo my box... is someone selling these in the U.K. (the decals) or do I buy from MOOSH?

Yes it is, nearest equivalent is ALCLAD II Mil-Spec British Brown Bess, which is damn near identical to the Humbrol BB.

Hey everybody.

Bumping this thread because I finally got around to using the excellent lettering set that Moosh made. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I did a quick 10 min video on the grenade box in general. I touch on 3 diff base boxes and of course finish them off with Moosh's product. Hit her up!

The video is great Bigbisont, and resulted in me ordering a multi pack of boxes (I could only find them in a five pack). I will probably throw the spares up on the PX for anyone who wants to make a replica.

Great video (especially the cursing at the end :lol: )!
Must immediately check all reference whether the gauge of the screen-used 870 has been confirmed as 12ga., I never even thought about 20ga.
Even if the 870 was 12ga., what's to stop the prop masters from using a 20ga. box with smaller grenades? Noone would ever notice...
