Amazing.

An odd detail is that the rendering is so detailed that you can tell she is clearly holding an Evike airsoft pulse rifle!

Sadly all reference is not accurate as we all know. For the first AVP game Rebellion used photos of the 'Zeta' Pulse Rifle, which of course is widely believed to have been built (or at least re-assembled) in the 1990s. It had a bare grip with no grooves which was clearly visible.

I've written the artist and invited them to the forum as well as gave them due compliments - I'm still amazed!

That would be awesome! I see the artist is connected to Naughty Dog who are my favourite game developers.

I saw that too and I can't help but think this artist used programming compatible with PS5-level detail. You recall I've been feverishly working on a pitch for an accurate Hadley's Hope level/map within a standalone story taking place on a different "shake and bake" colony/planet reusing assets

The face looks really fantastic! However, something bothered me about the picture and at first I didn't know what. However, then I noticed her trigger finger... ;)

Cheers

I do wonder sometimes how those errors got so mainstream; Icons got a messed up PR and took some liberties, then the airsoft was based off the Icons; Weird. I don't know how Icons got that weird shroud though.

Re-assembled vac-formed shroud added for Alien 3 using some original parts (but not all). The 'surviving pulse rifles' are a constant chore these days with everyone seeing the items as 'screen used', but failing to realize they have been often heavily altered for A3. "Screen used" components from 1986, but what you see now is pure Alien 3. Damn A3 gets us every time!!!

Man, what I'd give to see an animated film of this kind of quality. Get Blurr involved!
