The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hello everyone,
After seeing some fantastic hero Pulse rifle builds on here I’ve decided I’d like to tackle one myself. I have spoke to SD studios and hopefully will be buying a few parts from them but I am unsure on a few parts.
I think I will be building it from full metal bb replicas instead of deactivated weapons. My question is what are the best Remington and Thompson to tackle the job? I know some BB guns can be smaller or even bigger than the Real version and I don’t want to spend money on something that is not going to fit!
Really these BB gun alternatives need to be available in the U.K as I imagine getting any sort of weapon replica through customs is going to be a pain.

Many thanks

Jay

Yes sorry edited previous post, this is just for information regarding which are the best metal versions to use for the project. I will put up a post in the PX as well.

Thanks

Jay

Haven't been able to get hold of airsoft personally since the VCR act came in. I'm a bit too old and fat to be running around fields to get my license these days.

I think users here have successfully used the Cybergun Thompson and I think that it is full metal. Can't speak about the shotgun. I was lucky enough to get a proper metal spas cage from one of the members on the site years ago and if I were doing it now i'd probably see if I could get hold of one of the shell ejecting Remington 870's and make that work.

I'm guessing that a search of the airsoft arena forum on this site will help you out.

Yep, I felt exactly the same when I built mine. It's not easy for sure. Good luck
