The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Sportsman's Guide has M1 style plastic Parade Helmets for under $20. Might be a good choice for the budge-conscious and/or those without the tools or skills to modify a steel pot. https://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/us-military-style-parade-helmet-new?a=2224530

Also, they carry these Hungarian surplus BDU trousers. The pattern is one of the closest I've seen to the USCM camo in terms of colorway, blob size and orientation. The bad news is, I can't find matching tops anywhere. https://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/hungarian-military-surplus-bdu-pants-used?a=2213774

Once again I have no business interest in Sportsman's Guide, I'm just a satisfied customer.

I thought the woodland was closer to what you saw, but the lighting made the desert camo look like woodland. Both are available through that link...

I still think the Polish camo is the closest. Just picked these up. I will post comparison pics tonight.

Thanks!

Here are the comparisons with the Polish Desert. My Horrocks are packed away. I will add if I dig out.

First pic is the Polish Desert in the middle, MAA 3Pat, Spat's and Chef's.

The final pic is a group of us at this year's Farpoint Con this past Feb. Russ is wearing the Polish Desert. He is 3rd from right 2nd row circled. It is very hard from to tell and I did not notice in person till later. The color is not as green as you can see in the above side by side comparison pics.

I agree that Polish Desert is a really good match. I have a set I'm looking to sell over in the PX if anyone's interested.
