:delta: Apparently there was a DVD of the 1995 UK Aliens convention in Bristol, made by Paul Kitching.

Does anyone know of any way go view this, be it online or dvd copy? I love the history and archiving of this forum and would
love to see this. Necronom had done a second run of these but he doesnt appear to have been on the site in some time.

If the raw files exist, could we upload to an Aliens Legacy YouTube Channel?

That's a great idea Willie, gota be someone here who would manage the YOUtube channel. Ive also discovered a handful of very old youtube videos of Aliens stuff at Dragoncon and some other pertinent things.

I have a copy of the DVD but I'm not sure about copyright issues. I believe Paul is a member here though.

Thanks Harry, I'll just let this thread ride and see if it takes off. Its none of my business really, but I love seeing the old days, armor and stories, all that stuff that new members missed.

Do we think any mods would want to manage a youtube channel?
They could turn off the comments section and just use it as a storage area for legacy videos.
There is also the guy who runs a youtube channel called "ALIEN THEORY" he might be interested in hosting videos.
I do not know if he is a member here.

I'd happily upload to the AvP Galaxy Repository channel. It's not our main channel, but I've been using that to upload just random trailers, documentaries, fanfilms, etc, for prosperity.

Hello :-)

It's been about three and a half years since I was last here. I've been messing with some Aliens related software and thought I'd have a look in here, so just catching up on things and saw this thread.

I've just made an MP4 file of it and uploaded it to YouTube. The checks found five pieces of the soundtrack and said it would put ads on it.

It's here if anyone wants to see it, but be warned, the sound for the talks was really low, the microphones didn't really do much, so you'll need to turn your volume up:

I'm glad you liked it GarageGeek. Treeboar, that's great that you saw yourself in it!
I remember a radio woman going round interviewing people (including me and my Brother), but I didn't ever hear it.

I already have mine as does Terran and a few others.

My issue is lack of upload bandwidth at home as most of my uploads have to be done elsewhere or through other means.

Thanks Paul! I took the liberty of working on the interview section of the footage and quickly tried to boost the audio. I hope it's okay to post it for everyone, but do PM me if you'd like me to take it down.

I didn't work on it for very long but it's a little more audible now, although I have no idea what that banging in the background was while Terry was being interviewed!

Anyway the file is here: https://youtu.be/6soj_K1ufy8

Fun fact is that the guy in the 'Hudson' armour on stage with Terry is John Shadwell who I worked with to produce the very first sets of replica BDU under the name 'USCM Supplies'. The armour he's wearing is, I believe, one of the first batch of replica sets made by Terry back then.
