The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I've finally had chance to get some of those jobs done I've been putting off for a while and a dropship helmet was one of them!
I've been collecting the parts and kits for months so now time to build.

First to mark out and cut the templates. Probably the hardest part of the process. Making sure they are in the correct place.

Had too improvise a little with the parts on the end of the bike pump adapters with leftover parts in the model kits.

On to the left ear greebles. Ive tried to incorporate as many genuine parts into Stephen210 excellent mold as i could. A lot of extra work for very little gain yes but there was no rush to build this!

The first job was to drill and file the grills so i can get the all important camera part in behind. Not that you can even see it!

Lastly a paint in brown bess and Ferros slogan. Had many practices on some paper before attempting it on the helmet as i didn't want to mess up at the final hurdle. Think i got it fairly close!

Gorgeous and super help ref pics (I've just cut my lid, and am in the process of smoothing out the "ear plates", prior to attaching my greebies).

It doesn't take many posts to up the the px section, just make some comments on some threads an you'll soon be there. Theres no bike pumps for sale in there at the moment unfortunately but you can make a wanted post, you might find some!
