The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I've had these finished for awhile, just hadn't bothered with getting the photos off my camera.

The box was built from the file created and offered by Retrogarde as well as the cigarette papers. I created a new foil wrapper for the inside using some cool wrapping paper I found at Hobby Lobby. The plastic shrink wrap was made from a ziplock bag and sealed with a pack sealing tool. The ciagrettes themselves are just the paper wrappers wrapped around wooden dowel rods, I added a bit of tobacco from some real cigarettes to give them added realism.

The lighter is just a cheap-o I picked up at a gas station and added the WY wings using sticker paper.

Awesome!

I did a pack a while ago too, but never got around to making all of my cigarettes or cellophane wrapping them. I need to redo my carton because I scaled it in size and forgot to scale the top flap haha, so it doesn't close properly.

My cigarettes are regular PC paper and filled with tightly rolled toilet paper (Two 2-ply squares if my memory is correct) with a dab of white school glue on the filter end and a dab of brown acrylic paint for the tobacco end.

My brother Will almost smoked one before I caught him and told him he was about to light his face on fire by smoking toilet paper hahaha

Thanks to retrogarde for the designs and my ashtray!

Well then, my thanks to you both!

And I wish I knew how people opened packs of cigarettes so I could make the top/opening look correct. If I was back in high school I'd have all sorts of info to draw from since just about everyone I hung out with smoked.

Man those look great. I am certain if you left them laying around in a break room, multiple people would be trying to light one up.

That's a great compliment, and I would hope they like the taste of Oak!

Great team work!
Those items (set dressing) among others are what made Alien(s) so plausable.

You've got the source files in your Photobucket [linked to in the thread above]. Excellent work, and thank you :)

Now I just need to be allowed back into my office to use the printer *shakes fist in the air at Covid-19*

Yeah, I terminated my paid account as soon as they started being dicks (their ads taking up more of the page than the images your were wanting to host). F em!.

That said, there's some very cool stuff in your PB! I'm glad that your prop & film pics are accessible [even if it is via evil PB :) ].
