I use Chrome as a web browser and yesterday (Jan. 24th) I was logged out upon returning to the site. Once I logged back in I received a notification from Chrome: "Change your password A data breach on a site or app exposed your password. Chrome recommends changing your password on forum.alienslegacy.com now." Attachment: Now, my password here was a very old one that I don't have for anything else. Is it possible the AL had a data breach? I often notice on the "Who's online?" section there's over 100+ guest users viewing the site at any time. I assume they're mostly bots. And according to today's statistics the most ever online was January 15, 2020 at 1327 users. My Chrome address bar also warns the site is "Not Secure". I suggest if you haven't for awhile, change your passwords and maybe have the admins check out any recent activity. |

Whenever this kind of thing pops up I am always weary of "click me to change your password' prompts regardless the source. I usually close everything down and go direct to the source if I feel the warning is valid. Screw 'links'. Shady ... |

Use firefox. google is a scumbag organization in my opinion. always mining your data and forcing you to adapt to their ever changing "privacy policy". |
