Hello again everyone. As many of you know, my name appears as a mod on essentially every category. I am not actually THE mod for every category, I am just on-line a lot so I am usually an effective point of contact.

What I AM, is the guy who wants to maintain the history and keep accurate records. In that regard, my primary gripe is when pics/info are "lost to time" on outdated servers and hosting sites. I BEG for you all, if you have ever contributed something you believe worthwhile, to either update your posts by uploading images directly to the main board (instead of an image hosting site), or at minimum EMAIL them to me and let me know your post. I will GLADLY update the post with the images you send and upload to the main forum. That way they will forever be visible and illustrate/highlight your creations.

Please send emails to bigbisont@gmail.com with your images. If you can provide a link to your post, that would be best/easiest to process.
Even if you have never posted them, but they are cool/interesting, please send them to me so that they can be placed in the archive.

Don't let the valuable info/pics you contributed be lost because your host service went belly-up. Keep your legacy alive! Update your thread (or send to me so I can update) the pics!

let me toss one in right now, I think this was an early concept drawing originally for the Aliens resurrection toy line that never came to be. doesnt make sense but, I think thats where this came from.

I would also add that there is a lot of online competition going on right now and we could see facebook replaced inside of 10 years or less, maybe more. We also have a generation of kids and entire groups that are ditching social media so saving on social media is also a bit of a no go.

Look at what happened to myspace.

I just unlocked it and moved it back to the 'ready line'.

I will absolutely make the image updates if you wish, but since so many images are in that thread, I figured I should be pro-active in enabling the original contributors to make their own edits. (will move back to the archive when finalized)

On a very related note, if anyone else is trying to update a now archived (and 'locked') thread. Just let me know. Like Harry said, its an easy fix. Give us shout.
