Post subject: | Sentry Gun Simulator Program? |
A few years back, someone posted a SWF file, which simulated the sentry gun programs. However, it seems that flash programs are no longer supported on most systems, so can't get it to run. I know someone created a program to run on an Amiga, which would run on a laptop with an emulator program, but I need one that will run on a Raspberry Pi, which is (obviously) Linux based. Anyone know of any other simulator programs that would work on my Pi? I did a quick search round the forums, but the only programs I found were the above 2. |

I think Mike Rush created a Flash file. He hasn't been active on here for a couple of years at least though. Harry |

you might be able to emulate amiga on PI. https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/emulate-a ... pberry-pi/ other than that someone would have to write something specifically. I could do it if I had time but i'm struggling for that at the mo. cheers |

It is on the forums somewhere. I will have to find it, again. And this time can we sticky the bloody post so it is easier to find or something? |

That's the program with the .swf extension I downloaded fom here. As I said though, it won't run as Flash is no longer supported on modern systems. ![]() |

Linux? Windows? Mac? |

It seems Adobe no longer do the players, and newer browsers no longer support plug ins. I think you can still download older players, but support for these is apparently being discontinued either at th end of of this year (2019) or next. |

It still will work as, too many business systems and websites rely upon the medium. Migrating away from it will take years. I ran into dependency issues on raspbian. IT works on windows 10. |
